Two hinged leaves meet at a centre weatherbar. Both leaves operate — flag bolt on one, multi-point lever on the other. The simplest French door.
French Door
Hinged door pair, often with sidelights and a transom over. Heritage proportions in a modern thermally broken frame — the right answer for period rears and rear-yard openings.
Configurations
Common layouts shown · custom on request
French pair flanked by fixed glass sidelights. Reads wider, lets more daylight in, keeps the door scale human. The most common heritage-rear configuration.
Adds a fixed transom panel above the door head. Maximum heritage formality, maximum daylight. Specify when the head height needs to push above standard door.
